Just got back from a relaxing day spent in west LA at my sister’s place. My younger sis and I drove over last night so that we could stay up late to watch the Royal Wedding (cuz we had nothing better to do) and have tea and donuts (we were thinking crumpets, but we figured we’d Americanize it). I feel stupid for thinking it was possible in the first place
It's about time I started feeling stressed again
So, I got into a summer residency program at the School of Visual Arts in New York. I am excited but also nervous. That’s because I have until May 1st to pay the deposit, and I’m just realizing that I only have enough money saved up to cover the housing, travel and food. The tuition is a whole other story. Let’s just say I can only cover half the entire cost.

A friend of mine gave me a free haircut today, all I had to do was be her model for a class and let her do what she wanted with it. All one length and it’ll probably shrink when I leave it natural. I love it! Good thing I’m not attached to my hair because I saw one guy (model) who I guess was giving the stylists a hard time. What is with guys and their hair?

Just checking in to the blog to say “Howdy”.
Things have been pretty good lately. I’ve felt less stressed out and more productive. Still working on the etsy store, so that’s coming along :)
I’m also looking at some summer art residency programs to apply to… so yeah! Looking forward to seeing how that might go!

Just thought I’d share the first stamps I ever carved. They were xmas gifts for two of my friends who love FOTC (I’m a huge fan myself)
