after this, I’m going to treat myself to a day trip to lil’ Tokyo and get breakfast at Cafe Dulce, followed by lunch at Mr. Ramen.
Then I’ll pick things up again and decide if and how I should go about doing more flea markets/ fairs
some people make handmade stuff with love. My handmade goods are made with british comedy on in the background.
haha uhh i fear my friends don’t want to play Words with Friends with me cause I always beat them…so is it bad that i’m gonna lose games on purpose?
i want to keep playing with them, so i’ll just spell smaller words or not place them on double or triple earning tiles.
i don’t care either way, really. but i’m going to deliberately lose to them.
(i have lost about 3 games in total, my sis, sylvia, and jorge…but that’s it.)
i haven’t been playing because I’ve just been too busy making stuff to sell on Sunday. I’m in crafter overdrive right now! I just get so sucked into Words… I wouldn’t get anything done. But after Sunday, I’ll be ready to get my ass kicked again! I actually don’t mind losing, it makes me want to play more because I feel like if I did win some how, I totally earned it.
I knitted ALL DAY yesterday!
I now have about 16 hairbows ready to sell at my booth, I’m gonna make 4 more this morning and make it 20 total. They look really cute and I just hope others like them. I’m thinking of selling them for 5 bucks.
Then I have about 11 plush dogs right now. I’m gonna finish 1 dinosaur then make maybe 1 more dino, 1 more dog, and I also wanted to make 2 hedgehogs that I’ve made a pattern for. That’s a total of 16 plush, planning on selling those for 25 bucks each.
Then there are my stamps. I’ve got about 32 made so far. There’s a variety of them, but I still haven’t decided if I want to include them with the cling backing already or make that an option people can add at the booth, and then I can just add the backing there in front of any buyers. I’m gonna aim for 50 stamps total and they’ll be for sold between the prices of 8- 12 dollars (cuz some of them take more rubber, time, and detail to make).
Then there’s my art. I haven’t settled on any prices yet, but I will have one series of lino cuts for sale, one series of etchings, my halloween series (aka the one with Chuckitty and the Exorrabbit) and some new small paintings I’m working on.
This week is the final stretch for preparations, yikes! I don’t feel anywhere close to ready!
