The Hsi Lai Buddhist Temple
My ’hood. I’m actually from the edge where the Heights meets Industry/ La Puente (I call it the “low lands” since it’s flat and there’s trains and strip clubs, while the rest is really pretty and hilly.) I used to hate living here and always wanted to live on the west side of LA, that is till I started spending more time out there. Now I have a Leslie Knope-esque love for my town; SGV = Pawnee and anything West of Downtown LA = Eagleton.
